Emer Tumilty is an artist and designer based in Glasgow, Scotland, working across murals, set design, printmaking and community engagement.
With a background in both Architecture and Visual Communication, she has built a diverse interdisciplinary practice that has roots in both specialisms.
Emer’s practice aims to create playful interventions in space using bold colours and abstract forms, that surprise and delight viewers, enticing them to explore, occupy and engage with her work.
She has been commissioned by Warby Parker, Adobe, Urban Outfitters, NHS England and Atlantic Records, and co-created artworks in collaboration with National Galleries, Edinburgh, House for an Art Lover and Glasgow School of Art.
Her work has featured in Dezeen and Homes and Interiors Scotland.
